Daniel Fisher is the President and Owner of Fisher Films. Daniel’s journey in the world of film began at the University of South Carolina, where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts with a minor in Film Studies. Stephen Fisher is a multi-talented artist and co-founder of Fisher Films. He is a filmmaker, actor, and storyteller, and his passion for the art form is evident in all aspects of his work.

Stephen’s passion for the theatrical began in high school, and then quickly expanded to the film world when his brother (Daniel) got him involved in all things film as he was studying at the University of South Carolina. He quickly realized that he had a natural talent for the craft and decided to pursue it professionally. Since the beginnings of Fisher Films, he has worked on a variety of projects, from feature films to documentaries, music videos to commercials. Stephen has played a big part in Fisher Films journey to becoming known for its unique visual style and storytelling techniques, often incorporating innovative camera work and special effects to create stunning and captivating visuals.

In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Stephen is also a talented actor. He has appeared in several films and television shows, showcasing his range and versatility as an artist. His experience both in front of and behind the camera gives him a unique perspective and understanding of the filmmaking process. Jeremiah Polk is an integral member of the Fisher Films team. With years of experience in video editing and motion graphics, Jeremiah brings a unique creative perspective to every project he works on.

His expertise in video editing is unparalleled, and he is well-versed in the latest video editing software and techniques. Jeremiah has an eye for detail and can turn even the most mundane footage into a compelling and engaging visual story. His skills have been instrumental in producing high-quality videos for a variety of clients, ranging from small businesses, large corporations, films and documentaries.

Jeremiah is also a master at creating stunning motion graphics that add an extra dimension of visual interest to his videos. His motion graphics skills have been honed through years of practice.

Durham worked as the Associate Producer on Fisher Film’s 5 episode docuseries, American Royalty. An intriguing look at the first 100 years of the Miss America Pageant. In 2020, Durham was the first Assistant Director in a Roku Christmas movie, Christmas in Carolina, staring Kellie Williams and Darium McCrary. The world’s favorite sister and brother from Family Matters.

In 2017, Durham got the opportunity to be one of the Producers for the sports documentary, More than a Coach: The Taft Watson Story. This was a special project for Durham because in his words, “We get to pay tribute to a living, local hero.”

In between productions, Durham is an accomplished writer and has been involved with numerous projects with scriptwriting in both marketing and narrative film work. He was invited to the 2010 Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, Florida to be one of two screenwriters to discuss their screenplay. He recently completed a feature length Christmas story of love, family, and the magic of Christmas. Durham’s current project is a psychological mystery thriller nudging the audience to ask themselves, “Could I be next?”

Jake Shull is a graduate of Liberty University, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Cinematic Arts. Jake offers a unique perspective on video & audio production having produced multiple short films, documentaries, and commercial projects.  Currently serving as Production Coordinator at Shull Media Partners, Jake is committed to his long-lasting partnership with Fisher Films and ensures the logistics of creative projects are managed accurately and efficiently.

Scott loves good stories told well. Mild mannered college instructor of Philosophy and Religion by day, he has spent many a long night pursuing stories that promote Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Over the years Scott has served as a narrative advisor to Daniel and the team at Fisher Films on a casual basis, but in 2021 he stepped into a larger role as writer and producer of the Recidivism series. Since then, he has written and produced Hidden Crisis, a series of short documentaries about the opioid crisis and its impact in South Carolina. And he contributed as a researcher and narrative advisor for the feature length version of American Royalty.  Most recently, Scott wrote and produced Prisoner by Choice, a feature length documentary about a Japanese immigrant known as Frankie San who served as a prison minister in South Carolina for over fifty years.

Thomas Moore has been in business development and marketing for more than 20 years. In that time, Thomas has become an expert in business consultation and marketing. Over the last 10 years, Thomas has been working with Fisher Films in facilitating businesses and non-profits with film production. Thomas has become an invaluable team member that has transitioned to becoming head of production of Fisher Films in their efforts to developing creative scripted documentary productions and heading up Business Development for the company.

Thomas’ overall day to day work includes business management for Fisher Films, working with our creative team in story development, script writing and pre-production.

Since 2006, Colin has been an integral part of the Fisher brothers’ creative journey, beginning when he collaborated with Daniel on a music video to capture his unique marriage proposal. After a robust 26-year tenure in the IT sector, he took a leap of faith in 2021 to embrace his true calling in writing. By 2022, he had proudly acquired an associate degree in writing from Midlands Tech. Though fiction is his primary domain, Colin’s aspirations span the entire breadth of the creative process. From managing a boom mic, scripting music, to conceptualizing set designs, he’s enthusiastic about every step, with a vision of potentially directing in the future.
